How to decorate last day of school sugar cookies for the teachers
at home with edible icing
It is the end of the school year again and again it is the present time.
Let’s be real, teachers put up with a lot — which is why it’s absolutely necessary to show them that we totally appreciate the fact they made it through the whole school year with our kids in the classroom.
They work hard and often not just during school hours. They create lesson plans, mark papers and take courses to learn materials to teach their students. Teaching may seem like a thankless job at times, but we’re all about finding gifts to show these overworked and underpaid heroes just how much they mean to us and our children
So it is great to say “Thank You” to your child’s hard working teacher. But they often receive so many they end up giving most of them away.
I’m sure teachers appreciate every single gift they receive, but imagine that poor teacher has to carry all of that out to her/his car on the last day of school along with all the other junk the teacher received.
I HATE hoarding loads of stuff in my house so my empathy kicks in and I can’t do that to these poor teachers.
Unscientific studies have shown that really, all teachers want is GIFT CARDS, GIFT CARDS, and more GIFT CARDS. Why do we stray from this? Because we want to give them something cute and creative, that’s why.
Let’s try giving them something a little more special. Teachers treasure personal letters. Teachers love notes from the child, so I figured instead of trying to think up a cute gift this year, I’d just give teachers what they want. In a cute way, of course.
This can be easily thrown in his/her purse or pocket so she/he can be on their merry way 🙂
This might be the best one your child’s teacher has ever received!
